9th October, 2003: Hardcat has been recently installed to aid in the reconstruction of the Reethi Rah Resort located in the Maldives, a spectacular island archipelago located in the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean and a favourite holiday destination for many. The resort is currently undergoing a complete renovation and the Hardcat system was chosen as part of a two-phase project to initially control stock and supplies used in the reconstruction and at the completion of that phase, to hand over to the Resort Management a complete Asset Management solution containing all fixed assets on the resort. The old resort was closed to the public in January this year and work commenced to reclaim land, increasing its size fivefold. Once completed, planting of vegetation will occur to assist in land stabilisation and construction of the new luxury resort will commence. The 5 star resort is to be opened in October 2004.The sale of Hardcat to the Reethi
Rah Resort was made by ATA Investments Pvt. Ltd., our reseller located in Male, Maldives.
There has been considerable interest in Hardcat by organisations in the
Maldives since ATA Investments hosted a seminar featuring Hardcat's Senior
Account Manager Ms Leanne Cluley in October 2002.

If your organisation is battling with the task of co-ordinating an asset audit across many sites, why not contact our Business Services division. "tracks the tracks" at Victorian Department of Infrastructure 1st March 2003: Hardcat has recently won a major contract (in conjunction with Systems Integrator SolNet and GIS solution provider Pyxis) to supply the Department of Infrastructure in Victoria, Australia with a fixed asset management solution for asset tracking the vast network of rail and tram tracks, associated signalling, stations, overhead catenary, bridges, earthworks and rail crossings that the Department is responsible for. Hardcat is no stranger to rail asset management. It was the solution chosen by the former British Rail NSE when that organisation required an audit and database of its asset inventory prior to privatisation in the mid-1990s and continues to be used today by private UK rail operators including London & Continental Railways and GNER. |
